1. Delete it yourself in the app (fastest)
- Sign in to the Cancel Note app (or cancelnote.com).
- Open the “Settings” tab and scroll to the very bottom.
- Tap “Delete account”, enter your password and confirm.
- Deletion is immediate and cannot be undone. If you want a copy first, use “Export (JSON)” on the same screen.
2. If you can't sign in or have removed the app
Email [email protected] from the address you signed up with, with the subject “Account deletion request”. After verifying it's you, we delete the account without delay (within 7 days at the latest) and reply with the result.
3. What is deleted
- Account details: email, nickname, encrypted password, and your phone number if you added one
- Your subscription list with amounts, billing cycles, billing dates, notes, usage records and price history
- Your budget, notification and push settings, integration tokens and signed-in device records
- Cancellation reviews, reports, votes and tips you submitted
4. What may remain after deletion
- Questions and answers you posted in service Q&A: they stay as anonymous posts with no link to you. Email us if you want the posts themselves removed.
- Regular backups: kept for the backup retention period (up to about 90 days), then discarded automatically. They are not used by the service in the meantime.
- Visit statistics: anonymous counts not linked to any account, so there is nothing to delete.
- Anything the law requires us to keep, only for as long as the law requires.
