Subscription Ledger (the “Service”) treats your personal information with care and complies with the Personal Information Protection Act of the Republic of Korea and other applicable laws. This policy explains what personal information the Service collects and how it is used, stored, and destroyed.
| Category | Items collected | How it is collected |
|---|---|---|
| Required (sign-up) | Email address, password (stored encrypted) | Entered at sign-up |
| Optional | Nickname | Entered at sign-up |
| Optional (notifications) | Mobile phone number (stored encrypted) | Entered when enabling notifications |
| Generated while using the Service | Subscription names, payment amounts, billing cycles you enter (all stored encrypted) | Entered when adding a subscription |
| Collected automatically | Access logs, service usage records, device and browser information | Generated automatically while you use the Service |
The Service never collects payment credentials such as card numbers or bank account numbers. The amounts you enter are records for your own reference; actual payments occur directly between you and each subscription provider (Netflix, your carrier, and so on).
Your personal information is destroyed without delay when you close your account. Where a separate retention period is required by applicable law, the information is retained for that period and then destroyed.
The Service does not provide your personal information to third parties without your consent, except in the following cases:
To operate the Service reliably, we entrust certain personal information processing tasks to the companies below. These companies are located outside the Republic of Korea.
| Company | Entrusted task | Retention period |
|---|---|---|
| Railway Corp. | Server and database hosting | Until the contract ends or you close your account |
| Cloudflare, Inc. | Website hosting and content delivery (CDN) | Until the contract ends |
| Sentry (Functional Software, Inc.) | Error monitoring (minimal technical data sent only when an error occurs; sensitive values such as passwords and payment data are filtered out before transmission) | Until the contract ends |
| Kakao Corp. | Sending renewal reminders via AlimTalk (only for users who registered a phone number) | Until the contract ends |
We supervise these companies to ensure they comply with data protection law, and we will announce any change to these arrangements through this policy.
You may exercise the following rights at any time:
You can exercise these rights directly in the Service settings, or by contacting the email address below. We will act without delay.
Your personal information is destroyed without delay once the purpose of collection and use has been achieved. Electronic files are permanently erased in a manner that makes recovery impossible. No paper records are created, as the Service operates entirely electronically.
To keep you signed in, the Service stores an authentication token in your browser's localStorage. This is not a cookie transmitted to a separate server, and you can delete it at any time through your browser settings or by logging out.
A Google Ads conversion tracking tag may be used to measure advertising campaigns. It records only whether a sign-up was completed and does not provide the advertising platform with information that identifies you.
This Service is not directed at children under the age of 14, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 14.
